OUR BELIEFS
This “Statement of Fundamental Truths” contains the 16 doctrines of the Assemblies of God. These are non-negotiable tenets of faith that all Assemblies of God churches adhere to. Four of these, Salvation, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, Divine Healing, and the Second Coming of Christ are considered Cardinal Doctrines which are essential to the church’s core mission of reaching the world for Christ.
The Bible is our all-sufficient rule for faith and practice. This Statement of Fundamental Truths is intended simply as a basis of fellowship among us (i.e., that we all speak the same thing, 1 Corinthians 1:10 [KJV/NIV]; Acts 2:42 [KJV/NIV]). The phraseology employed in this Statement is not inspired nor contended for, but the truth set forth is held to be essential to a full-gospel ministry. No claim is made that it covers all Biblical truth, only that it covers our need as to these fundamental doctrines.

Our Staff
Brad and Pam Fussell have been in ministry for 48 years. Both are Ordained Ministers. They have served as Lead Pastors, Children's Pastors and Foreign Missionaries. They spent most of their years of ministry in Georgia but came to Ruidoso in 2021 to Pastor One Church. They are excited how God is blessing the church. Their goal is that people love God, love each other and love sharing the Gospel with unbelievers. Pastor Brad
Makaela Elliott is a Licensed Minister and leads our Kid's Ministry. She does an amazing job with the children. She is always extremely prepared for the children to learn the Bible and learn how much God loves them. She does it in a way that is fun and exciting. Makaela says, "It is true that Jesus said, 'even the angels of these little ones have access to the ear of the Father' (Matthew 18). I love encouraging and empowering kids to overcome anything that satan has planned!" Makeala is a graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University with a BS in Psychology Pre-Professinal and an AA in Intercultural studies. She loves crafting, sushi, reading, and seeking after the Lord!
Welcome Wednesdays
Welcome Wednesdays is a fun night of food, fellowship and Bible Study for the whole church. We have it in the church foyer and each week is a new meal theme. People bring food to share with others and it is always delicious. The food and desserts are great and it is a great time for people to get to know each other. After the meal we have Men's Bible Study and Women's Pearl Girls for ages 15 and up. The meal is at 5:30pm and the classes start at 6:15pm
Men's Ministries
Men at One Church are very involved in many ways in the work of God. We have a Men's Bible Study every Wednesday at 6:15pm - 7:30pm. We have a variety of men's activities throughout the year including attending the Men's Retreat, and Bullets and Burgers. We have a Men's Breakfast on the first Saturday of each month. Men are involved in ushering, security, teaching and keeping up the property. Our goal is to help men be strong followers of Jesus and to love God, their families and their church.
Women's Ministries
Pearl Girls is the Women's Ministry. They meet each Wednesday night from 6:15pm - 7:30pm. This ministry is led by Pastor Pam. They laugh, talk, have games, make friends and have Bible Studies. Women are very involved at One Church. They lead worship, teach classes, pray, do children's ministries and are very involved in outreaches, and go on retreats.
Hope Kids (ages 5-11)
Hope Kids is our children's ministry and it is fantastic! Led by Children's Pastor Makaela and her team, they meet during church each Sunday morning at 10am. It is well organized and has plenty of singing, games, prizes but most of all the children are taught to love God, His Word and their family. Our children also attend a great summer camp normally in June. All of our children's workers go through extensive training and background checks. Children here are well protected and loved!
Nursery - (0-4 or 5)
We provide nursery for ages 0 - 4 for our Sunday Service. We have an excellent staff that provides top notch care.
